What to expect
The show follows two piano students, Ted and Richard, through music lessons, pushy parents, eccentric teachers and brutal competitions. It asks how far talent and sheer determination can really take a person. The music ranges from Bach and Beethoven to Billy Joel and Jerry Lee Lewis, and the source describes the production as a live music performance with plenty of humor.
