What to expect
Alex Edelman tells the story of an anti-Semitic tweet that leads him to a meeting of White Nationalists in Queens, where he sits face-to-face with the people behind the keyboards. The story moves through religion, cultural identity, assimilation and empathy, along with gorillas that speak sign language. It is a one-man show, so one performer carries the whole evening, and it deals directly with what it means to be confronted with hatred.
