What to expect
A tour presentation built around Ami Taf Ra's debut album, The Prophet and the Madman, which Kamasi Washington produced and Brainfeeder released. The record blends Moroccan Gnawa and Arabic musical tradition with gospel, soul and spiritual jazz, and it draws on Kahlil Gibran's writing about duality and ancestral memory. Ami's voice moves between quiet intimacy and theatrical release. Washington joins her as an acclaimed saxophonist, composer and producer.
