What to expect
A guided walk through the cemetery grounds in and around Hotchkiss Chapel, with a new theme each year. This year's tour centers on Dr. Bernard Farrar, who died in the 1849 St. Louis cholera outbreak and was laid to rest at Bellefontaine in 1862. Guests hear about funeral customs of the era and how the dead were remembered by those left behind.
