What to expect
Counterpublic is a three-month exhibition with artworks spread across St. Louis. Pieces appear in public places, cultural institutions, historic houses and community gathering spaces. Artists, cultural leaders and civic partners make new works and ideas that engage local history and imagine new futures. Programs and publishing run alongside the art, along with civic initiatives that continue after the show.
