What to expect
The tour runs two hours on a trolley, with a horticulturist guiding you past some of the most interesting plant selections in the collection. The arboretum holds about 10,000 trees and shrubs, representing nearly 600 species, selections and varieties. Each tour can cover different plants, so no two are quite the same. The trolley is climate controlled, but there are chances to step off the vehicle, so weather-appropriate clothing is suggested. Seating is limited and tickets are required.
