What to expect
Froggi VanRiper, a lecturer in Environmental Studies and a foraging scholar, leads the walk through WashU's arboretum. The tour covers a wide range of plants, from the small fruits of flowering crabapple to the nuts of the many campus trees. Participants identify plants, taste some of them and learn what to show others. The tour runs one hour, from noon to 1 PM.
