What to expect
This guided 2-mile walk covers the 132-acre park, from its beginnings as the city's grand fairgrounds and an early zoo to its more recent history. It also points out the park's large lake, home to ducks, geese and herons as well as turtles and other aquatic animals. The walk is part of a series that visits a different park each session.
