What to expect
Hot Freaks play bright, danceable indie pop with a glossy disco sheen and vulnerable lyrics, in the vein of of Montreal, Voxtrot and MGMT. The Minneapolis band released its self-titled debut LP in 2013 and split amicably in 2015. A pandemic-era TikTok revival of 'Puppy Princess' led to a full reunion, with rare material and new visuals.
