What to expect
The story follows two women. Hildegard is a medieval saint, healer and composer who is locked in a cloister cell as a young girl. Jutta has secluded herself for years to recover a whole self after deep trauma. Hildegard works to rebuild her fragmented self while Jutta preaches a rejection of brokenness. The show is described as a sonically sophisticated saga of two women broken by the world and the journey that changed history. It is staged in the Emerson Studio Theatre.
