What to expect
Each weekly session mixes open play, guided instruction, group lessons and social time, so the format moves from playing to learning and then to talking with others. Each session runs about an hour. Instruction is led by WGM Thalia Cervantes. Players of different skill levels sit together, so beginners and advanced players both have a place in the room.
