What to expect
Each session mixes open play, guided instruction and group lessons, with social time built in. Beginners and advanced players learn together, and the class is led by WGM Thalia Cervantes, a top-level female chess master. The atmosphere is meant to be welcoming and supportive, so players can build confidence one move at a time.
