What to expect
Each session mixes open play, guided instruction and group lessons, then ends with social time. Instruction is led by WGM Thalia Cervantes, a top-level female chess master. The class is built for women of every skill level, from first-time players to advanced ones, and the tone is welcoming and supportive. Players can learn, play and meet others who share a love of the game.
