What to expect
The class walks through the basics of the game: how each piece moves, what check and checkmate mean, and how castling works. It is built for kids who are brand new to chess. The class meets weekly on Sundays, and the focus is on building confidence while having fun learning the game. Kids are asked to bring their curiosity.
