What to expect
The walk lasts two hours and covers about 2.5 miles over pavement and grass, with moderate terrain. At each of the 10 graves, the recipient's accomplishments are read aloud from the submissions made to secure their Medal of Honor. Attendees carry flags from site to site while each hero's American flag and Medal of Honor flag are refreshed as part of the tribute.
