What to expect
A pirate-themed Halloween takeover of the aquarium in Union Station. A scavenger hunt for hidden pirate flags leads through the galleries, past photo scenes like a captain's chair, a walk-through ship and a megalodon jaw, and carved pumpkins hide among the tanks. Kids can fire a smoking cannon, make a pirate crown and race rubber ducks, and pirates roam the halls. On weekend afternoons, divers carve pumpkins underwater in the shark habitat while visitors vote for a winner.
