What to expect
Three works share the program. Kris Bowers' For a Younger Self, inspired by the hero's journey, features violinist Charles Yang on his return to the hall. Miguel Farías paints a portrait of life in the southernmost region of South America. And Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, a capstone work, recounts his own life's journey as an anthology of musical memories.
