What to expect
'No Time to Lose' draws on 'The Adventures of Eco Girl,' Martinez's painting series about a teenage girl devoted to rescuing endangered marine species, which is due out as a book in 2026. Martinez, a longtime hair and makeup artist and illustrator, turned to painting in 2020. During her Sunday visits, the gallery fills with whale songs and immersive lighting.
