What to expect
Russian Circles is an instrumental trio, so the music comes from drums, bass and guitar with no vocals. The band's latest album, Gnosis, takes its sound into the most tumultuous and harrowing territory of its career. Earlier records moved between drone, prog, riff-heavy and noise rock moods, but this album sticks to a darker, more intense path.
