What to expect
S.G. Goodman's songs draw on her upbringing as a crop farmer's daughter and a queer woman in a rural Kentucky town. Her debut, Old Time Feeling, was produced by Jim James, and Rolling Stone called her an untamed rock n roll truth-teller. Her second album, Teeth Marks, co-produced by Drew Vandenberg, adds a Velvet Underground edge, with influences from Pavement and Karen Dalton.
