What to expect
Choreographer Gen Horiuchi, who is also the company's artistic director, staged this production to Adolphe Adam's score. The story moves through love and betrayal, with the ghostly Wilis emerging from the shadows of the forest in the second act. The source describes the show as full of ethereal movement, sweeping drama and timeless romance, so expect a mood that is more haunting than bright.
