What to expect
Dick Benach plays Robert Zavel, a junior officer assigned to the security detail protecting President Lincoln at the Summer White House, just north of Washington, D.C. Zavel had almost daily contact with the President and saw him with family members, guests and official visitors. Zavel shares personal memories and reads some of the President's oral and written messages to the people and country he loved.
