What to expect
The program pairs new works by three choreographers. Artistic director Kirven Douthit-Boyd, a former Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater dancer, blends movement genres into bold narratives. Rena Butler, a Princess Grace and Isadora Duncan award winner, is known for percussive, emotionally direct choreography. Keerati Jinakunwiphat, the first Asian woman commissioned by New York City Ballet, builds work on the relationships between dancers.
