What to expect
Saint Louis Dance Theatre opens its 2026-2027 season with a trio of world premieres. Artistic director Kirven Douthit-Boyd, a former Alvin Ailey dancer, blends movement genres into bold narratives. Rena Butler, a Princess Grace and Isadora Duncan award winner, is known for percussive, emotionally direct choreography. Keerati Jinakunwiphat, the first Asian woman commissioned by New York City Ballet, builds work on the relationships between dancers. Think of it as a sampler of where the company is headed.
