What to expect
Set in a mythical, ice-bound kingdom, the story follows a princess who challenges her suitors to a deadly game of riddles. The production is directed by Diana Higbee and conducted by Scott Schoonover. The finale was completed from Puccini's final sketches after his death, and the opera is sung in Italian.
