What to expect
The program includes Holst's First Suite in E-flat for Military Band, a work by Carl Holmquist and a piece called Chiaroscuro, then finishes with John Philip Sousa's The Fairest of the Fair and Ira Hearshen's Symphony on Themes of John Philip Sousa. Expect bold brass, soaring melodies and the full sound of a concert wind band.
