What to expect
Lights illuminate the grounds and the historic house as carols play on arrival. Inside, decorated rooms glow with battery-operated candles, and guitarist Patrick Rafferty plays period holiday music in the museum. In the Visitor Center classroom, food historian Suzanne Corbett serves 19th-century treats and talks about etiquette and holiday food customs. The evening ends with a Wolf Creek Bluegrass concert in the park's theater at 7 PM.
