What to expect

The exhibition draws on the Kartemquin Films Collection to look back at the studio's history, its award-winning films and its work in independent documentary filmmaking. Since 1966, Kartemquin has used documentaries to build bonds between communities and push for justice. Curator of Film and Media Lydia Creech organized the show, with help from MFA candidate Maria Pellegrino.
