What to expect
The film follows Souleymane, a Guinean immigrant who makes food deliveries by bicycle in Paris while he prepares for an asylum interview in two days. Abou Sangare plays him, and Nina Meurisse plays the immigration officer who will decide his case. Director Boris Lojkine's third feature stays close to Souleymane throughout, drawing on Cristian Mungiu's 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days. The screening is part of a festival series that looks at global health through a decolonial lens, with films about migration, displacement, motherhood and mental health. The RLL department presents the 2026 festival.
