What to expect

This is a realist drama set in Alleur. Five teenage mothers living in a maternity shelter face poverty, addiction and neglect as they work toward better futures for themselves and their children. Dedicated staff help them along the way. The screening is part of the 2026 Francophone Film Festival. The festival looks at global health through a decolonial lens, with films about migration, displacement, motherhood, mental health and social connection across Francophone countries.
