What to expect
A cast of 20 actors performs scenes from America's struggle for freedom. The performances include dramatic scenes, historic spirituals sung by enslaved people, live music and storytelling tied to Missouri's past. The program is more than a traditional history presentation, so expect scenes and songs rather than a lecture. It is open to the public, and all ages are welcome to watch and reflect on how enslaved people and their allies risked everything for basic freedoms.
