What to expect
Joe Morris and Wadada Leo Smith improvise together, creating each piece in real time through an open exchange between guitar and trumpet. The set draws on the same approach heard on their recent recording, Earth's Frequencies (2024). Morris plays guitar, and Smith is a trumpeter, composer and visual artist, so expect two musicians sharing the stage.
