What to expect
Telescopes of several kinds are set up on the grounds of the McDonnell Planetarium once it gets dark. Operators are on hand to answer questions and guide what you look at through the lenses. The Star Party is held monthly as part of a regular series. Plan to spend the evening outside, since the viewing happens on the grounds rather than inside the building.
