What to expect

Produced by the Royal Ontario Museum, the exhibition grew out of the 2014 loss of nine endangered blue whales trapped in sea ice off Newfoundland. Visitors learn about Blue, a female whale recovered from that tragedy, and see a replica of her 80-foot skeleton, the world's only full-scale blue whale heart model and a jaw model big enough to step inside for a photo. A whale sound chamber is also part of the visit.
