What to expect
Objects from the Missouri Historical Society's collection trace defining moments, such as Missouri's role in the national debate over slavery and a transatlantic flight that changed aviation, alongside everyday life: what people wore and ate, and how they worked and played. A rotating gallery changes its theme each year; the first, The Life of Kids' Clothes, draws on more than 2,000 pieces of children's clothing from the 1900s.
