What to expect
The show brings together 70 works, presented as the first exhibition to focus on nature imagery in the paintings of women Impressionists. It looks past the domestic scenes these artists are known for and into the outdoor spaces they painted less often. Artists include Marie Bracquemond, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot and Blanche Hoschedé Monet. Themes include gardens, parks, farms and marine scenes, with work made in France from 1860 to 1910.
