What to expect
The hour-long interactive tour walks through Buenos Aires Modern, 1935–1950, an exhibition about the city as a creative lab. Artists arriving from Europe, including exiles and refugees, helped shape new visual languages there. The exhibition centers on the art of Grete Stern, Horacio Coppola and their social circle. The tour is conducted in ASL with interpreters available. It is offered with DEAF Inc. to celebrate Deaf culture and promote access to the arts. The exhibition is the first in the United States to examine this community.
