What to expect
Local growers and bakers sell fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and baked goods, plus handcrafted goods from the area. The market has been run by an all-volunteer staff since it opened in 2009 as an Illinois not-for-profit. It runs every Thursday from May through October, so it is a casual, browse-and-buy stop rather than a show.
