What to expect

Irish playwright Conor McPherson adapted Daphne du Maurier's short story, which also inspired Hitchcock's film, for the stage in 2009. In a near-future world, massive flocks of birds launch coordinated, lethal attacks on humanity. Two strangers, Nat and Diane, shelter in an abandoned farmhouse until a young woman named Julia arrives and sparks paranoia and suspicion.
