What to expect
The Dip is known for poignant songwriting, detailed arrangements and a vintage sound. Its music, with a three-piece horn section, draws on earlier soul and funk and hints at jazz foundations. The band's latest release is its fourth full-length studio album, Love Direction, from July 2024. It follows Sticking With It, which reached #1 on the Billboard Current R&B Albums Chart.
