What to expect
Kornél Mundruczó's 2014 film follows teenager Lili and Hagen, a street dog her father won't let her keep because of a new tax on mixed-breed dogs. Once they are separated, Hagen sets off on a gritty solo quest that builds to a finale made without CGI. The film runs 121 minutes and also won the Palm Dog at Cannes.
