What to expect

Maria Liston, professor emerita at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, presents "The Dead of Chaeronea: Unearthing a Lost Battlefield." The talk looks at the 338 BCE battle in which Philip II of Macedon and his son Alexander the Great faced an alliance of Greek city-states, using the skeletal remains of the Sacred Band of Thebes and the Macedonian cavalry to show how these warriors fought, suffered and died.
