What to expect

Zara Anishanslin, associate professor of history and art history at the University of Delaware, tells the stories of Robert Edge Pine, Prince Demah and Patience Wright. The three artists defied the British monarchy with paint, canvas, wax and espionage, risking their lives and reputations for the cause of liberty. The talk looks at how artists on both sides of the Atlantic helped forge revolutionary ideals.
